Server Assistant/Busser

Your responsibilities may include resetting tables, pre-bussing, providing refills, and stocking service stations. Fulfilling guest requests and delivering our delicious seafood in a friendly, timely manner are ways you will represent the Red Lobster hospitality we pride ourselves on.

What You Need to Succeed
•Skills to Make the Grade – Multi-tasking, teamwork, communication, and organization skills
•Job Qualifications – Must be at least 16 years of age
•Perform the Physical Demands – Lift and carry up to 30 pounds, frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching


The Red Hook Lobster Pound is seeking rockstar Servers for our flagship location in Red Hook. 

We are an acclaimed, busy, high volume, family-owned New England Seafood Restaurant and are seeking new team members who are hungry to learn and seek to grow professionally. 

Servers will work directly with our Managers to provide exceptional service to our diverse guestbook. We have guests from all over the tri-state area and from many different countries. We are a tight-knit team and consider all of our staff to be family. You will learn, have fun, develop meaningful friendships and mentorships. Please be sure to check into your travel to Red Hook as we are a little bit hard to reach. We hope that everyone on our team can obtain a healthy work/life balance, and the commute is part of that! 

Candidates should possess the following: 

• Ability to work well with others 

• Good communication skills 

• Exceptional hospitality instinct. 

• Love of creating customer memories and experiences. 

• Maintain a positive attitude under pressure 

• Ability to react and move quickly 

• Know and follow DOH guidelines 

• 2-3 years experience in a full-service restaurant 

• Open availability
